The Secret Garden

A fragrant spin on the mojito, weaving honey‑infused rum and soothing lavender syrup into the familiar trio of mint, lime, and bubbles.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz honey‑infused white rum*

  • 1 oz lavender syrup

  • ½ oz fresh lime juice

  • 3 mint leaves (plus extra for garnish)

  • Club soda

  • Ice

* Honey‑infused rum: Combine 4 Tbsp honey with 1 liter white rum in a bottle or jar. Shake until the honey is fully dissolved—about 30 seconds.

Method

  1. Muddle the mint leaves and lavender syrup gently in a shaker to release the mint’s essential oils.

  2. Add the honey‑infused rum and lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice.

  3. Shake briskly until the tin feels frosty.

  4. Strain into an ice‑filled highball glass.

  5. Top with a splash of club soda.

  6. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a lime wheel.
