The Irish Maid

A bright-meets-floral cocktail with just enough warmth to keep things interesting. The Irish Maid balances Irish whiskey, elderflower, and fresh cucumber for a crisp, refreshing sip that feels like the first real day of spring.

Ingredients

2 slices cucumber

2 oz. Irish whiskey

½ oz. St-Germain elderflower liqueur

¾ oz. lemon juice

¾ oz. simple syrup

Garnish: cucumber slice

Instructions

  1. Muddle the cucumber in the shaker.

    2. Add everything else into the shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

    3. Fine strain into a rocks glass with ice.

    4. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
